Volunteer Vince Longo, Vincent Longo Custom Builders

Vince Longo of Vincent Longo Custom Builders is a longtime supporter of HomeAid Atlanta. Over the years, Vince has generously helped HomeAid Atlanta make improvements at several metro Atlanta facilities serving people experiencing homelessness. Each time, Vince has shown great care for his work and HomeAid’s mission.

In 2014, Vince volunteered as Builder Captain for our renovation project at The Drake House: a complete office renovation and two-story expansion including a new Teen Center, life skills classroom, improvements for ADA compliance, and an expanded food pantry. Vince was awarded the 2014 HomeAid Atlanta Volunteer of the Year Award for his work at The Drake House. Vince also led a bathroom renovation at SafeHouse Outreach in 2017, and completed a kitchen transformation and more at Gilgal, Inc. in 2021.

Vince has also led several HomeAid Care Days, volunteer workdays providing free facility maintenance and repairs for organizations serving families and individuals experiencing homelessness. In late 2016 and early 2017, he led a series of HomeAid Care Days at SafeHouse Outreach to prepare an apartment building for renovations. He has also led Care Days at Making A Way Housing, Direction House, and other locations. Most recently, Vince returned to SafeHouse Outreach to lead a painting Care Day on February 26, 2022.
